UNROT Games is a set of offline logic puzzles for mobile. This page explains what happens to your data when you play — in short, almost nothing happens to it, because it never leaves your device.
No account required
You never create an account or sign in. There is no server holding a profile for you — the app has no server at all.
What's stored, and where
Everything stays in the app's private local storage on your device: your username (chosen by you, or generated automatically), your progress and level in each puzzle, your daily streak and puzzles-solved count, your app preferences (dark mode, timer, haptics, notifications), whether you've already seen a puzzle's how-to-play tutorial, whether Premium has been unlocked on this device, and — only if you choose to set one — a profile photo, kept as a reference to the picture already on your device.
Nothing leaves your device
We don't run analytics, we don't operate a server, and we don't share, sell, or transmit anything listed above to us or to any third party.
Permissions
The app asks for photo library access only at the moment you tap "Change photo" on your profile. It is never accessed at any other time.
Ads & purchases
The app does not currently show ads or process any purchase. A Premium option is planned for the future; when purchases go live, they will run through Google Play's own billing system, and this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what that involves.
Children's privacy
UNROT Games is a general-audience puzzle app and isn't directed at children under 13. Because no data ever leaves the device, none is collected from any player, regardless of age.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete Account (or Profile → About → Delete Account) instantly erases everything in section 3 from your device. Uninstalling the app has the same effect. Since nothing is stored remotely, there's nothing further for us to delete. Full instructions: Delete Account.
Changes to this policy
If what the app collects ever changes — for example, when ads or purchases are introduced — this page will be updated and the date above will move.
